Paleo Brownie Recipe

Hi all! Welcome to our very first blog post. Our first blog post is dedicated to something very special in our lives: dessert! What's better than dessert? Guilt free dessert. This recipe is so easy and SO yummy. Another plus: it only has 6 ingredients! Try it out and let us know what you think. (Shout out to our dear friend, Mindy, for sharing this recipe with us!) 

 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup maple syrup 
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder 
  • 1 cup almond butter 
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder 
  • 1 egg 
  • coconut oil for greasing pan 

Directions: 

Heat syrup on low heat on the stove. 

Stir in cocoa powder over low heat until smooth. Cocoa can burn fast so keep your eye on it!

 

Stir in remaining ingredients until thoroughly mixed.

Pour into baking dish/pan greased with coconut oil. 

Bake on 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
